We totally understand how important it is to feel confident when shopping with a new brand. PortaSofa is a registered Australian business (ABN: 96649047165), and our warehouse is located in Springvale, VIC:

How does the compressed sofa design work?
Your sofa is delivered compressed in a compact box, making it easier to move, store and carry through lifts, narrow hallways or stairs. Once you open the packaging, the foam gradually expands to its full shape over the next 24–72 hours. You only need to unpack, let it breathe, and then enjoy.
How long does it take to set up my sofa?
Most customers can set up their PortaSofa in under 15–20 minutes.
Simply:
- Open the boxes and remove all packaging.
- Let the cushions and bases expand.
- Attach any connectors/metal bars (if included in that model).
- Arrange the modules in the layout you like.
No tools, no complicated assembly – just unpack, position and relax.
Will the sofa feel different after being compressed?
The foam is designed to recover fully after compression. It may feel slightly firm in the first few days while the foam and fabric relax. This is normal. With regular use, the sofa will soften to a comfortable, supportive feel – without losing its structure.
Why might the actual product color differ slightly from the photos?
Our product photos are taken in professional photography settings, where lighting, angles, and different display devices (e.g., phones, computer screens) may cause the colors to appear slightly different from the actual product. We strive to represent the colors as accurately as possible, but minor variations may occur.
